Application

A last month's rent deposit is mandatory to hold an apartment and process your application.   It is helpful to include proof of your salary with your application.  You can submit your application to our office either by fax at 613-736-8833 or email accounting.ashbury@bellnet.ca   We make every effort to respond to applications as quickly as possible.   If you require an update on your application, or have any questions,  you may contact us at 613-736-7377 Ext. 27

If your application is not approved your deposit will be returned to you minus a $50 processing fee.

Parking

Parking is offered at some of our properties although there is an additional charge for each space.  Contact the rental agent should you require additional information about parking. 

Late rent

If your rent is late for any reason an eviction notice will be delivered to you immediately.  If payment is made by cheque and it is returned you will be required to replace the cheque plus pay a $25 NSF fee immediately.  Failure to promptly replace your payment will result in an eviction notice being delivered to you.

Terminating a Lease

When terminating a lease a Tenant must give us at least 60 days written notice.

Hydro and Hot Water tank Rental

If you are responsible for paying the hydro please ensure to call Hydro Ottawa at 613-738-6400 to set up your account prior to moving in.  If you are responsible for the Hot Water Tank rental it may be through Reliance.  You will need to contact them to set up your account as well at 1-866-735-4262.   When you are terminating your tenancy you will need to contact these utility companies as well to make sure they stop billing you as of the last day of your tenancy.
